Daily Bread Food Bank Drive

The ultimate goal of the Daily Bread Food bank is to, “end hunger in our communities.” For the past five years, YOUR contributions at the convention have raised over 10,000 pounds for the Daily Bread Food Bank. Let’s revive the tradition of feeding the needy! In support of the Daily Bread Food Bank, join us and bring at least one non-perishable food item to the convention. Together, we can end hunger in our community. Bins will be located on the 600 level at the MTCC.

Coat Drive

Poverty continues to be a reality for many families in our community, and many times difficult decisions amongst competing priorities must be made. Join RIS and the Muslim Welfare Centre in making their lives a little bit easier by bringing a new or gently used winter coat to the convention. Now in its fourth year, the RIS coat drive has donated over 1800 coats for the needy in Toronto. Coat racks will be located on the 600 level at the MTCC.

Toy Drive

For children living in poverty, the excitement of receiving a brand new toy is not always experienced. Join the RIS Toy Drive, a new initiative that will bring toys to needy children in our community. Simply bring a new and unopened toy to the convention and know that you will be making smiles for children in need. Please leave toys at the “Information” booth on the 600 level at the MTCC.
